M/s Facor Power Limited, is installed with 100MW coal based thermal Captive Power Plant. The Plant is situated adjacent to the FACOR Charge Chrome Plant and is approximately 4 Kms from the Odisha PGCIL’s grid sub-station. The Plant has a 3 by 2 configuration, 3 Boilers and 2 Turbine Generators.

Design and Delivery

Major Equipment for this Plant has been sourced from a range of established manufacturers including Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Thyssenkrupp Industries India, ABB Limited and Thermax Limited, all well-known suppliers in the thermal power industry.

  • ASH Evacuation- Dry ash evacuation through pneumatic conveying system

Turbine

  • Type – Multistage, single shaft, single cylinder, regenerative type Condensing Steam Turbine
  • Capacity – 2 x 50 MW (normal); 5000 RPM

Generator

  • Manufacturer – BHEL, HYDERABAD
  • Type – 2 Pole generator, Output voltage-11kv. Synchronization done at 132kv
  • Capacity – 65.625 MVA (normal)
