"Centenary Celebration of Late Shri Durgaprasadji Saraf, Founder - FACOR GROUP, on 25th September, 2011 at Nagpur"

Nariketan

In its efforts to help women rise from social hardships and inequality, the Group established ‘Nari Niketan’ - A Home for Rehabilitation of Helpless Women.

Much more than a shelter, ‘Nari Niketan’ has come as a relief to the women, who had to face various hardships due to their poor family background, and also due to their lack of formal education. Many of these women were forced to adopt immoral professions to be self reliant. They had no guidance and were shunned by society.

The ‘Nari Niketan’ apart from fulfilling the basic necessities offered the much needed comfort and security to these women by providing them with a training platform for the vocations of their choice and aptitude. As a result, today many women have regained their self confidence; have a steady income and employment, besides living a much better and dignified life.
